Fear is an unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger, according to Merriam Webster.
President Donald Trump blames Democrats for many internal issues revolving around crimes and illegal immigrants, and many will say it is out of subtle fear.
Trump has been trying to fire up the country with fear of illegal immigrants right before the election to usher votes his way through the Republican Congressional races. How is he doing this? By equating the Democratic party with supporting any illegal immigration violence.
“It is outrageous what the Democrats are doing to our Country. Vote Republican now!” President Trump tweeted on Oct. 31. This tweet was posted alongside an ad about illegal immigrant Luis Bracamontes killing our people.
While conservatives often define themselves as “pro-life,” Trump is notorious for defining liberals as pro-killing.
Trump says Democrats want immigrants in the U.S. not to allow them fair opportunities, but to fill the country with violence.
“The America founded on freedom of religion and the press, on equality, diversity and dignity, is slipping away,” said opinion contributor Maria Cardona. “The commander in chief and the Republicans who blindly support him bear much of the blame for that. They fan the flames of the hatred and division that lead to these horrific events.”
Regardless of the outcome of the midterm elections, Trump will do anything to have the results turn in his favor, including lying, exaggerating and even smearing his opponents.
I think the real question is: should we fear Democrats and illegal immigrants? Or should we fear the man in charge who manipulates the country with false and exaggerated accusations for his own selfish gains?
