In Omaha, it’s essential to have multiple snow removing crews on standby during the winter.
On the night of Feb 23. into the morning of Feb 24., Omaha recorded up to 8 inches of snow. I was able to ride along with operations manager of Titan Exterior Peter Hanusek to get hands on experience. He talked about the importance of snow removal and how it effects the entire city, the long hours he’s had to work day and night with a limited amount of sleep, and how team work plays a pivotal role with snow removal.
With all the work that needs to be done with blizzard like condition, a big thank you should go out to all the men and women that keep our roads clean and as safe as possible.
