The traveling exhibit of fallen soldiers from Nebraska now resides at Eppley Airfield in Omaha, Nebraska. Bill and Evonne Williams, Founders of Patriotic Productions, are responsible for the 40-foot long memorial.
This particular memorial has been booked since January of 2011, as this was the first physical commemoration the nonprofit organization assembled. The forty-foot memorial took months of research and perseverance to be completed.
The greatest fear of families with fallen soldiers is that their loved one will be disregarded. Patriotic Productions and the Williamses want to keep their spirit alive through articles of clothing and photos of their livelihood. There are two photos per individual. The first photo is their military photo and their second photo is their family’s favorite personal photo.
Bill and Evonne Williams have no military background. Their selfless acts honoring citizens they do not know has earned them a spot in the Omaha press club hall of fame and as the Omaha World-Herald’s Midlanders of the year.
Bill and Evonne Williams had four children who served with the army and the marines. two of which were deployed to a war zone, came back alive.
