OMAHA – The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has continued to affect businesses around the world. One of them includes the dine-in eating restaurants.

Restaurants from across the state of Nebraska, however, are continuing to make changes to their establishments in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment as we get into a bigger challenge with the cold weather.

“Now we’re back to where we’ve had to take out a whole bunch of tables. Our landlords were nice enough that we had to empty bathes in both of our locations,” said Brent Gussinger, the Tanners owner on West Center Rd.

There has been a lot of confidence that these establishments can continue to stay open, even while this pandemic continues to go on.

“Our goal is to stay open. Obviously, we’re a sports bar mainly and a family restaurant. So, you know having football come back, and hopefully basketball here coming up soon will hopefully increase some people going out,” said Gussinger.

There have been a lot of people from across the state who have cut back on going out to bars or restaurants in order to stay safe. While others have been confident in going out still.
