OMAHA, Neb- Whether you enjoy comedy, live music, movies or education seminars, Omaha Performing Arts has something for you.
The Omaha Performing Arts mission includes a broad range of education and community engagement activities that reach a wide and diverse audience across the entire state. Omaha Performing Arts provides a $47.6 million annual impact on the local economy through the use of both of their venues, the Holland performing arts center and the Orpheum theater. An impact that has been affected over the past 2 years due to the global pandemic. With a return to normalcy on the horizon, the Omaha Performing Arts is geared to make a triumphant return in the Omaha Community.
While attempting a full return, the Omaha performing arts are still committed to keeping its guests safe. Masks are recommended but no longer required, unless otherwise stated by the artist. This has UNO student Logan rich excited for the plethora of events he can attend in the coming months.
Rich said, “I’m usually looking for something fun to do around Omaha, I usually turn to the holland performing arts, they throw some pretty cool events together and the tickets are usually pretty cheap for students, and taking a peek at their schedule, they have a lot going on so I know there is something I could check out.”
The student rush tickets Rich referenced can be signed up for through the Omaha Performing arts centers website if you have a valid student ID. The limit is two tickets per student and all tickets are subject to availability. Tickets for all events can be found and purchased online at ticketomaha.com
If you’re looking for something to enjoy this summer, head to the Omaha Performing Arts website and there is sure to be an event for you.
