OMAHA, Neb. — This National Coffee Day, Scooter’s Coffee is celebrating with free coffee and a new fall menu.
Coffee enthusiasts can receive a free brewed coffee at participating locations and while supplies last on Sept. 29.
In the exploding specialty coffee industry, Scooter’s Coffee has quickly distinguished itself as a premier competitor. Two decades after opening, the company has expanded on its Midwest roots.
UNO student and Scooter’s customer Katrina Jenkins said she has been going to Scooter’s regularly for about three years.
“I just really love the deals that are offered in the app, and the student discounts, they have like a happy our drink,” Jenkins said.
These deals and more have made Scooter’s the nation’s fastest-growing drive-thru coffee concept, and it has especially prospered in the last five years.
Coffee enthusiasts also enjoy a rotating seasonal menu every few months with new hot, iced or blended drinks and both sweet and savory food items added to the menu.
Jenkins said: “Right now, with the fall menu, I really like the Pumpkin Caramelicious blender and the caramel apple bread.”
Don and Linda Eckles opened their first drive-thru location in 1998 in Bellevue, Nebraska, at Cornhusker Plaza near 24th Street and Cornhusker Road.
The Nebraska-born business currently has nearly 500 stores in 23 states and is on track to have over 1,000 locations across the nation by 2024.
Whether it’s National Coffee Day or any other day, keep an eye out for other promotions and special deals to keep you caffeinated — and be sure to stop by a Scooter’s location near you on Sept. 29.
