OMAHA, Neb. – An Omaha business wants to give members of the community a chance for friends and family to have fun together, all while sharing a passion with them.
Studies have shown that spending quality time with people you love can reduce stress, anxiety and improve your overall quality of life. Arcade 33 is a gaming establishment that people can rent out by the hour, with the intent to enjoy quality time, privately.
Patrick Garber is the owner of the arcade and vintage game enthusiast. He says running this business has always been his career goal.
“My first professional job, which was at a web hosting company in Bellevue, when I was being interviewed, my future boss asked me a really important question: ‘If you could have your dream job, what would it be?’ I looked right at him, and I said I would run an arcade,” says Garber.
Officially opening their doors in 2019, Garber decided to take the business in the private rental direction, to accommodate groups while still following social distance guidelines during the pandemic.
There are over 20 different gaming machines for guests to play at Arcade 33. Garber says he enjoys sharing his devotion with everyone that walks through the arcade doors.
