OMAHA, Neb. – The Nebraska Broadcasters Association inducts notable members of the media world to their hall of fame. Now, it’s Douglas Wesselmann’s, better known as “Otis Twelve” turn.
Since 2006, Otis Twelve has hosted “Morning Classics” at 90.7 KVNO, but he has been a radio personality in Omaha for over 40 years.
With different radio shows at stations in the area, he gained the opportunity to become a respected broadcaster. When it came to being inducted in the NBA hall of fame, Twelve said the event was completely unexpected.
Otis Twelve has traveled and lived all over the country. He expresses his gratitude and how lucky he has been to experience all the different opportunities throughout his career.
He credits the support of his co-workers and peers for their talent and help that gave him the chance to succeed.
The Nebraska Broadcasters Association will welcome Otis Twelve into the NBA Hall of Fame August 8, 2023, in La Vista, during their 88th Annual NBA Convention
