OMAHA – In places such as Europe and the UK, bungee workouts have become extremely popular with the mainstream public. However, in Millard, there has been a need to open a bungee workout facility. The facility in question, is called Wellness Workout. Owned by Risa Hofmeister and Managed by Parker Bryant, the two of them oversee the workout facility and its clients.

Bryant goes a little in detail behind the reasoning for the need to open a workout facility such as Wellness Workout.

Bryant said, “We just want a place for our patients to go to after surgery because a lot of the time the question is asked, well what do I do now?”

When asked about how COVID-19 has affected the intake of new clients and how it affected the facility, Bryant mentioned that it didn’t affect the intake of new clients. Although, it did affect the official opening of the facility which was supposed to open back in June.

Denise R. a long time client of Wellness Workout was able to give some insight on why she liked coming to Wellness Workout, and gave it a strong recommendation for anyone to come there if they experienced any difficulty with physical movement in their day to day life.  “I like doing the squats,” she said.

Denise said: “It’s really nice being able to come in here and watch yourself progress overtime. And over time I was able to move around a whole lot in the bungees in a way I haven’t been able to move before.”

As Wellness Workout continues to see new members sign up, the task falls upon them to maintain a small presence in the Omaha area. From here on out the gym is a place for those to come in their times of need.
