OMAHA, Neb. – Downtown Omaha is starting to get busier as the weather is warming up but also is seeing some new attractions getting built.
A new hotel, the Hines Development, and the riverfront project is getting finished up and will attract more people to the downtown area.
A lot of businesses have been opening up around the Old Market in the past year and business owners are excited to see how much life it has brought to Omaha.
Owner Nate Flick of Godega Market is happy to see new restaurants and hotels are opening and will start to bringing more business to downtown.
“You Know the more like housing accommodation, whether that’s just like residentials or hotels as well as more businesses. Just keeps the energy and the liveliness stuff and the old Market,” Flick said.
The new developments and business will soon be done this summer and be ready for the crowd that it will bring.
