Women in Media at UNO campus.

By: Connor Schmidt OMAHA, Neb. – A group of women is making waves on the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) campus once again. The Women in Media club, once thought to have faded away, is experiencing a resurgence.

The Women in Media club is a group of women at UNO who are involved in covering sports and other events around campus. Their work spans across several platforms, including sports broadcasting, audio production, photography, social media, and more.

The club initially made its debut in 2020, founded by Ana Bellinghausen, Avery Howard, and Alexa Blaze. This trio had a passion for producing high-quality content and worked tirelessly to build a platform for women to excel in media roles.

With a renewed sense of purpose, the current members of Women in Media are committed to keeping the club active and influential on the UNO campus for years to come. Their dedication ensures that the club’s legacy, built on passion and collaboration, will continue to thrive.
