Keep Kids Alive Drive 25 is encouraging drivers to slow down and stay focused while sharing the road with pedestrians, cyclists and other drivers.

The organization promotes traffic safety through its Drive 25 message, which encourages drivers to pay attention to their surroundings and make safer choices behind the wheel.

Tom Everson, founder and executive director of Keep Kids Alive Drive 25, said traffic laws are meant to protect people and the relationships they have with others.

For Alejandra Jimenez, the organization’s message also has a personal meaning. Jimenez said remembering her brother, Hector, and having others acknowledge his life means a lot to her.
