Throughout the challenges of growing up in foster care, Iliana Garcia has used her experiences to give her children the life she never had.
At the age of 19, she has been able to overcome every obstacle thus far. Whether it’s financial issues or finding the time to give each of her kids the love they need, she has found a way to make ends meet.
She has experience good and bad homes, along with living on the Boys Town campus. With her experiences, she feels she knows what it takes to be a good mother to her girls.
Moving forward, she knows she has to be self-disciplined for her kids and when she’s in need of help, she just needs to swallow her pride and ask.
