The Omaha One Community Cultural Festival is back!

OMAHA, Neb. –Omaha One Community Cultural Festival returned to Aksarben Village with it’s purpose to promote, share, and celebrate the diversity of the different cultures and traditions people have in Omaha. 

This event is crucial since minority groups experience hate during the pandemic.“There is some misconceptions about the racial intensity and discrimination going on since the pandemic started that’s understandable but we can not tolerate that” said Nebraska Chinese Association President Dr. Lei Guo

This Omaha One Community Cultural Festival happened in the same period of Chinese mid-autumn festival, one of the visitors Qiuming Zhu says he was there to experience diversity in Omaha. “We are here to try to acquainted with all the cultures in the Omaha area and different cultural and different nationalities.”

Twelve Different Cultures and nationalities showed off and educated visitors about their dances, talents, artwork, and jewelry while at the event.
