An Omaha woman and mother of three has been missing for nearly six months. Camisha Hollis was last seen on Easter Sunday.

Hollis’ sister, Caprice, describes Hollis as full of life, joyful, hilarious and overall a great person to be around.

“She had the greatest sense of humor and one of those infectious laughters. If she laughed at anything it would just make anyone else in the room laugh… She was obsessed with working out… a really good friend, a really good sister and a really good mom.” says Caprice.

The worst part is worrying about the “what ifs.”

“It will bother me forever of what led up to that point and how she must have been feeling, how she must have been thinking.” says Caprice.

Hollis’ boyfriend and father of her three children, Marvin Young, is currently charged with three counts of intentional child abuse and resisting arrest. He has not been charged with anything related to the disappearance of Camisha Hollis.

The night of April 1st, Young allegedly gave his three daughters adult sleep medication. The oldest daughter heard Hollis and Young arguing.

The next day the children woke up alone in the house. Hollis, Young and her red 2018 Hyundai Elantra were nowhere to be found. Authorities found Hollis’ blood and two spent shell casings in the home after receiving the missing person report.

On April 4, police located the Hyundai Elantra in the parking lot of the 402 Hotel. Since then, few significant details have surfaced.

“I don’t want to say we’re done searching, because we’re not. It’s just we don’t know where to go.” says Caprice. “We’ve come to terms with the worst, so now it’s just we’re holding onto positivity and hope that they’ll find her so we can just finally have closure.”

This ongoing investigation is now being assisted by the FBI Omaha Field Office, allowing access to higher forms of technology that could be essential to the investigation.

Camisha Hollis is a 35 year-old black female standing 5’6″ tall and weighs 195 pounds. She has a tattoo on her left arm. If you have any information that may help the search for Camisha Hollis, call Omaha Crime Stoppers at (402)-444-STOP or visit www.omahacrimestoppers.org.
