It wasn’t senior night, but it was the last home game of the year for the Maverick basketball team. Seniors Mitch Hahn and Zach Jackson played their final games at Baxter Arena last Wednesday as University of Nebraska ta Omaha improved its conference record to 11-2 on the season.

Jackson led the Mavs with a team-high 21 points, while junior KJ Robinson added 17.

The Mavericks were only up by three as the teams went into the half, but they outscored the Leathernecks 44-33 in the second half to win by double digits. With two games left in the regular season, UNO will look to secure the number two seed in the Summit League tournament, which takes place March 9-12 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
